Moral scandal. Deconversion. Ex-vangelicals. Faith Moral scandal. Deconversion. Ex-vangelicals. Faith abandonment. It seems like every week we hear a new story of someone who claimed to follow Christ committing grave moral sin or walking away from the faith altogether.  It gets discouraging, doesn’t it? It’s even worse when the person has held a position of leadership in a church or ministry. How do we process and wrestle through these kinds of situations? Was it all fake? Was all the stuff they did for the gospel legitimate? What about the people they impacted? What if it happens to me?  These are all very important questions, so let’s talk about some answers for the tragedy of deconversion and moral failure.
